Religion and Revelation: Embodied Thought

In a course dedicated to Western philosophical thought, students investigated the idea of thought and embodiment through a module with choreographer Morgan Thorson and Assistant Professor of Religion Mary-Jane Rubenstein.

Thorson, a noted choreographer who has won numerous awards, was named a fellow at the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography and at the McKnight Foundation. In 2008 and 2010, the Minneapolis-St. Paul City Pages named her “Best Choreographer.” She performed her work Heaven at Wesleyan in 2010.
